Ged2Csv allows you to export the genealogical information from your gedcom files. With Ged2Csv you can export directly to Microsoft Access, or create a set of comma-delimited (CSV) files which can be opened with Excel or imported into many database programs such as MySQL.
Once you've exported the raw data, there are many ways you can use it. See the phpGene project page for an example of how to create a dynamic web site using the data exported from Ged2Csv.
Dick Eastman recently wrote a detailed review of Ged2Csv in his Online Genealogy Newsletter. In case you have never read it, Dick's newsletter is probably one of the best resources on the web for keeping up with what's happening in the world of genealogy.
You can download the trial version to try free for 30 days. If you find Ged2Csv useful after 30 days you can purchase a license for US$25.
